ALUFLEX AA3 • Laminated aluminium flexible ducts

The ALUFLEX AA3 is a fully flexible laminate duct with a steel spiral inserted between the layers of the duct. This flexible duct consists of 3 Aluminium-layers (7 micron), combined with 2 Polyester-layers (12 micron).

• The ALUFLEX AA3 flexible ducts are used in ventilation, air conditioning, and air handling systems where a high mechanical strength, temperature and fire resistance is required

• Each standard length of 10 m is compressed in an individual, reinforced cardboard box

• Good resistance to many solvents
• Moderate resistance to acid and base

• The ALUFLEX AA3 is suitable for applications where static discharges have to be avoided

• The ALUFLEX AA3 ducts are not suitable for transporting air with a high concentration of acid and base
• The ALUFLEX AA3 cannot be used for discharging combustion gases from open fireplaces and oil-fired boilers

• The connection between the ventilation system and the plenum boxes shall be done with the use of aluminium flexible ducts, approved according to EN 13180. The Aluminium flexible duct consists of 3 Aluminium-layers os 7 micron, combined with 2 Polyester-layers of 12 micron. The diameter shall be adapted to the air flow.
