PIR-AI6 • PIR-plates 60µ 20mm thickness

Polyisocyanurate (PIR) rigid foam panel, coated with embossed aluminium foil on both sides.

Application

  • Duct construction in air distribution, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems (HVAC)
  • Apparent installation with little impact on the structure
  • Ducts of small and medium sizes
  • Construction of plenum boxes
  • PIR plates are only for inside use

  • Density 35 ±3.0 kg/m³
  • Thickness aluminium layer: 60µm
  • Standard thickness is 20 mm
  • Dimensions: 2000 x 1200 mm
  • Fire class: B - s1, d0 according to EN 13501-1 (joints protected)
  • Rigidity class: EN 13403, 160.000 (R3)
  • Average thermal conductivity coefficient- λ at 10°C: 0.022 W/mK, EN 13165

Chemical and physical characteristics

  • The coating of the panel consists of an corrugated aluminium foil (60µ) with a protective lacquer on both sides
  • The blowing agent is CFC and HCFC-free
  • Fiber-free product

Smoke toxicity

  • Smoke toxicity : British Naval Engineering Standard NES 713 < 4.5

Operating temperature

AI6 panels are used in a range of continous temperatures normally included between -40° Cand +110°C. Long exposure to the temperatures could cause deformations of the foam or to the coatings, but without sublimation or fusion.
