Application

  • For thermal and acoustic insulation of HVAC ductwork applications

Material

  • Glass wool matress with vertical glasswool blades, glued on a reinforced aluminium foil of 20 µ thickness

Colour

  • Yellow mineral glasswoll with reinforced aluminium foil

Composition

  • Mineral glass wool matress with vertical glasswool blades
  • Reinforced aluminium foil of 20 µ thickness.
  • Wrapped in polyethylene shrinkfoil

            • Vapour diffusion of the aluminium layer of 0.05g/m² in 24h according to DIN53122
            • Vapour diffusion resistance of alu foil Sd = 350m
            • Tensile strength of the aluminium layer ≥ 4 kN/m according to ISO 1924/1
            • Shear of aluminium layer ≥ 200 kPa according to ISO 2758
            • Application temperatures up to 260°C, alu foil 100°C
            • Non hygroscopical and non capillary material
            • Uncombustable according IMO MSC.61(76)
            • Fire resistance class A2-s1,d0 according EN13501-1
            • Size 10m x 1.2m (12m²) with a thickness of 25mm
            • Size 5m x 1.2m (6m²) with a thickness of 50mm

            Mounting

            • To be glued on ducts and to be finished with aluminium tape
            • To be wrapped around ducts and to be finished with aluminium tape
            • To be pinned on duct surfaces by means of insulation pins with washers

            Accessories

            • Contact glue, type POWER SPRAY
            • ALUTAPE 40S PREMIUM or reinforced aluminium tape FSK
            • Self-adhesive mounting pins with washers for insulation material, DU/R30-25 type CD 32 , DU/R30-50 type CD 63

            • The thermal and acoustic insulation of the ducts will be done by means of glass wool insulation matresses of 25mm or 50mm. The matresses consist of vertical lamellas of mineral glass wool glued on a reinforced aluminium layer with thickness of 20µ.
