Text for tender
The thermal and acoustic insulation of the ducts is achieved with insulation in synthetic rubber with a closed cell structure.
ERI flexible insulation material made of 'nitrile butadiene rubber' is a synthetic flexible elastomeric plastic foam, whose closed cell structure offers high thermal efficiency. It prevents condensation and also has favorable acoustic properties. The mechanically strong foam structure and stability reduces the risk of damage and thus prevents costly repair work. ERI insulation is ideal for use in projects that require optimal thermal insulation. This includes installation of air conditioning, industrial cooling, cooled water pipes and sanitary and heating installations. The temperature range of Aerofoam NBR sheet on roll is between -50°C and 85°C to 110°C for NBR hoses. The thermal conductivity coefficient is 0,035 W/mK at 0°C and has a vapor diffusion resistance of >10,000 μ. Fire reactions are; self-extinguishing, no drips and does not support flame spread. ERI has a fire class B,s3,d0 Euroclass. Due to the closed cell structure, NBR has extremely good thermal properties, prevents condensation and has favorable acoustic properties (noise reduction of 27 dB(A)). The smooth finish and associated closed cell structure of the NBR insulation material also ensure that bacteria and fungi cannot adhere. This makes Aerofoam extremely suitable for use in the food industry.
The mechanically strong foam structure and material stability reduce the risk of damage during installation and prevent costly repairs after delivery. Aerofoam NBR has good resistance to mineral and vegetable oils, benzene/petroleum ether, normal diluted acids and bases.
