VKG-HC • Hot and cold water buffer tanks

The VKG-HC is an vapour-tight insulated buffer tank for applications with hot or cold water. These buffer tanks are used to increase the thermal inertia of chilled water or heat pump systems. They are necessary to limit the frequent restarting of compressors and they provide a sufficiently large thermal buffer during the defrost cycle of air/water heat pumps. The VKG-HC units have two additional connections for an additional source or for setting up this buffer tank as a hydraulic separator. The exterior coating can be made of PVC for indoor installation (VKG-HC) or embossed aluminum for outdoor installation (VKGE-HC). These buffer tanks are selected by CAIROX on a project basis and offered with a heat pump or ice water machine proposed by us.
