UTR-EV XB • Accessories - Expansion valve kit

A small amount of noise is generated from the operating EV kit, so it should be installed away from the living quarters, such as above the ceiling. It will increase the comfort of the room by installing the expansion valve outside the room.

Do not install the unit outdoors.

Make sure that acces for servicing is maintain or create an opening for inspections.

Maximum piping and wiring length under 5m (measured from the right-hand side of the indoor unit and if your infront of it)

The piping length might be made shorter than 5 m depending on the installation style.

The installation direction can be either horizontal or vertical but keep the inclination within 5º. Incorrect installation direction or angle could cause improper operation.
