Expansion vessel for sanitary water (ACS) equipped with a bellows in EPDM, so that there is no contact between the system water and the steel vessel. The expansion vessel absorbs the pressure difference that occurs due to expansion of the water during heating of the water heater. The mounting of a sanitary expansion vessel prevents the frequent opening of the safety valve resulting in water loss.
The expansion vessel should be mounted as close as possible to the water heater on the cold water supply line, between the safety group and the cold water connection. No shut-off valve should be mounted between the water heater and the expansion vessel.
