YDS • Y-strainers
The Y-strainer (SMY) contains a stainless steel sieve that filters and collects all material from the liquid.
The strainer is suitable for heating, cooling and drinking water systems.
By installing a Y-strainer, the hydraulic components in the system are protected from clogging or damage caused by impurities in the water.

Installation
The Y-strainer can be installed on both horizontal and vertical pipes. Install the strainer in the direction of the arrow and with the plug facing down, so that the effluent will carry the dirt in the strainer and not flow back into the pipe when opening the strainer. When installing the strainer, leave enough room to remove the sieve.
