De luchtafscheider (Discal® 551706) wordt toegepast om op continue wijze lucht uit de hydraulische circuits van verwarmings- en koelinstallaties af te voeren. De ontluchtcapaciteit van dit toestel is zeer hoog. Het toestel is in staat om alle lucht tot zelfs microbellen in de circuits automatisch af te scheiden bij zeer lage drukverliezen. De circulatie van volledig ontlucht water zorgt ervoor dat de installaties optimaal kunnen functioneren zonder dat problemen als geluidsoverlast, corrosie, plaatselijke oververhitting en mechanische beschadigingen optreden.

Installatie

De luchafscheider kan zowel in verwarmings- als in koelinstallaties worden gebruikt.
De luchtafscheider moet altijd in verticale positie worden geïnstalleerd, en bij voorkeur na de pomp, waar de luchtbelletjes zich gemakkelijker ontwikkelen door toedoen van de hoge snelheid van de vloeistof en de daaruit volgende drukdaling. De luchtafscheider is verstelbaar voor horizontale en verticale leidingen.
