Application

  • The metal Y-piece is used to make a bifurcation with a rectangular duct. It is mainly used to reduce the air resistance compared with a traditional T-piece. The connection with the rectangular duct has to be made by means of 3 connection pieces MDF.

Composition

  • Rectangular Y-piece made of coated KTL steel; thanks to this KTL coating, the Y-piece is resistant to the corrosive elements of the cement screed (compression strength 80 kg/cm²)
  • The KTL coating is also dust and moisture repellent, which makes it very appropriate for ventilation applications
